Today the first German Front Mod patch has been released, bringing the mod to the version 1.0. The patch is for both servers and clients! The main function is to make the mod more stable. Many errors where fixed that let the servers crash, the mod should now run smooth. You can find a complete change list by clicking on "more Informations" at the bottom.
We are sorry that it took that long, but we added much new code and fixed a lot of stuff. We wanted to get all the errors out so we tested a lot!
There are 2 version of the patch. We have got a Windows Installer file that is only for clients using Windows. The other file is the patch directly as a pk3-file, that was made for servers and for GFM players who use Linux.

Installation notes:
If you use the windows installer: Select the Call of Duty directory as install directory.
If you are a linux user or you want to install the patch onto your server: Please put the zz_gfm_beta_v9.pk3 into your "gfm"-modfolder! Please restart the server after doing this(if you run a gameserver)!
For server admins:
Please put a V1.0 into your gameserver name to let all the GFM players know that you run a patched server!

There were quite a lot of guys who asked for a mac version of the mod. We might release one soon, keep your eyes opened!

CHANGED:

Saint Lo:
- Fixed clip brush in staircase blocking players
- Fixed M10 not showing damage model
- Fixed M10 displaying as GFM_Sherman
- Fixed M10 allowing the player to man an imaginary .50 cal machine gun
- Fixed Panther not showing damage model
- Minor brush changes
- Fixed CTF and DOM gametypes causing an error
Merderet River:
- Removed "invisible walls" around the perimeter of the river. Players can now fall in and drown
- Removed an "invisible wall" in the German SD spawn
- Moved railcar on bridge slightly
- Added a slight bit of sunlight
- Very slightly reduced the fog and mist
- German Spawnpoints for SD moved slightly closer to bridge to allow for a quicker assault
- Fixed CTF and DOM gametypes causing an error
Cauquigny:
- Fixed a glitch that allowed players to get stuck in a wall in the arched house
- Jeeps can no longer drive into the SD objective models
- Dimmed the sunlight slightly
- Fixed CTF and DOM gametypes causing an error
Amfreville:
- Remade wall around church in certain sections
- Added a slight bit of sunlight
- Added more detail to the ruins
- Changed the treeline around the map
- Fixed CTF and DOM gametypes causing an error
